The 85 Watt MagSafe Power Adapter is equipped with a magnetic DC plug that causes the power cable to come off if too much pressure is put on it. It also helps prevent the cable from wearing or fraying over time. In addition, the magnetic DC connection pulls the plug to the right place, so that a good connection is quickly established.

Once the plug is firmly attached, the LED on the head of the DC plug lights up; an orange light indicates the portable device is charging and a green light indicates a full charge. A power cord is supplied with the adapter for maximum cord length, and the user can travel even easier and more conveniently with the AC adapter (also included).

Thanks to the handy design of the adapter, you can neatly wrap the DC cable around it. That makes it the ideal travel companion.

With this power adapter, you can always charge the lithium polymer battery whether the computer is turned off, turned on, or in hibernation mode. The adapter also provides power when used without a battery.
